UGC NET announces the result within a month after the completion of the exam cycle. The result is declared in the format of a scorecard containing certain relevant information related to the candidate in addition to the candidate’s personal details. I have written them in detail, in the section below.
That said, note that as per UGC, ‘the number of candidates to be qualified (total slots or Eligibility for Assistant Professor) shall be equal to 6% of the candidates who appeared in both the papers of NET’.
These total slots are segregated as per the reservation policy of GoI into different categories.
With this, let’s now move to the process of the current year.
The UGC NET Official Notification has been released on April 30th 2022, and the registration process for the examination has also been started, on the same date.
The NET exam 2022 will be a merged cycle and will entail December 2021 and June 2022 editions.
Though, as of now there is no concrete information regarding the exam dates but, according to the UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, the exam will likely take place during the first/second week of June 2022.

I am a very optimistic person and I do hope that you have cleared UGC NET exam. However, if you are yet to check your NTA UGC NET Exam Result, then apply the following steps to see your result.
Result was declared on 19th February 2022.
Step 1:Go to https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ .
Step 2: Click on the result link for UGC NET.
Step 3:On this page, enter your Application Number, Date of Birth & Security Pin. Click on Submit button.
Step 4:Your UGC NET result will be shown on the screen. Download & print it.
