If you've ever struggled with low self esteem then you know how difficult it is to overcome it by yourself. Sometimes you just need a little help.

Once you begin the process of feeling better about yourself it becomes an ongoing endeavor. You must continually involve yourself in activities that build your self love and self acceptance to keep your self esteem high.
Sound too hard or complicated? Trust me, it's not really once you get started.

All you need to do is really, whole heartedly love and accept yourself. And you don't need anyone to help you do that. You can do it all by yourself by following some simple straight forward steps.

Step 1: Smile! Smile at yourself in the mirror. Smile sitting at your desk reading. Smile when someone is yelling at you. Just smile. A really big smile and teethe smile. Don't you feel better already?

Step 2: Tell yourself how much you love yourself by saying it out loud. No, you don't have to do it out loud if there are other people around you who might think you have finally lost your mind. Just say it to yourself until you get alone in your car or somewhere will no one will hear you.

Step 3: Keep an "I'm grateful for" list. This little step will open your eyes to the little things in life that we sometimes take for granted. The idea is to take nothing for granted because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

Step 4: Walk with your head high. No more walking with your head hanging. Believe me it will give you bad posture if you hold your body in this positive for too long. And you don't want that hump in your back when your old. It doesn't look right.

Step 5: Exercise. Take a short 15 minute walk or a 5 minute jog. Do whatever it takes to get moving. Motion is energy. And lots of positive energy will improve your self esteem .

Just by doing these simple steps you could improve your self esteem tremulously. Because if you think about it, true change comes about by a bunch of tiny little steps.Little doable steps.

You can smile right? Say I Love You? Good then you have what you need to get started.
