Nearly everyone would like improvement in their life. Whether if it's in their love life, at work, or life in general. So what is stopping most people from achieving a better way of life? Could it be that they lack sufficient confidence, and persuasive skills? There are many people of both gender out there that find it hard to communicate with other people, they find that people just don't listen to them. If you want to develop more confidence what is the first thing you need to do?

Well, the first thing I think is important in developing confidence, is to try in some way to appreciate yourself and value what you already have in your abilities. The thing is though some people start out life with absolutely no confidence at all.

How do these people develop confidence? I mean just because maybe you have no confidence with the opposite sex doesn't mean that you have no confidence in climbing a mountain, or doing all kind dangerous things. Most people are confident in some things, but maybe not in others. But like I said some people start out life with no confidence at all.

I started out in my life with absolutely no confidence. I was so bad that I used to shake every time I had to write my name in front of someone. Well, even if you have no confidence at all it is still possible to develop a good confidence level, but it will take a little time. You have got to want to change as I did. Having more confidence is just a skill that need to be learnt. Just like anything else. One of the ways I developed more confidence was by watching other confident people, to see what they did. I used the technique that I have set out below.

This technique is used by a lot of successful people like actors, sports people, and the top people in the business world.

1: First think of someone you think is really confident and charismatic. Someone that you like and admire.

2: Now think of the last time that you saw them being confident and charismatic.

3: Now I want you to picture that last time over and over in your mind. Start in slow motion at first until finally it gets to normal speed.

4: Now I want you to imagine that you are floating out of your body, and into your role model's body. Now think of their posture how they hold themselves. Harmonize with their posture. Think of how they talk, how they smile what gestures do they use? Now feel what they feel, look through their eyes and see what they see, hear through their ears, and ear every thing that you think that they might hear. Feel how confident they feel, say to yourself, "wow this person really is confident!"

5: Now run this memory and feeling through your mind at least ten times, really be in the moment really use your imagination on this. Do this exercise until you really do feel confident and different. Practice every day until it becomes ingrained in you.

By putting yourself in an another person's body and emulating that person's way of being you will suddenly begin to develop that person's way of thinking, you will have changed your internal states. One thing, choose your role model carefully, this really works!
