WHAT IS STRESS TOLERANCE?

When you need to eat a worm, the most important thing is not to think about the worm. Otherwise it will vomit. It's amazing how our thoughts can determine our physiology: I think it will vomit, I don't think it will not vomit.

HOW TO DEVELOP STRESS RESISTANCE?

To develop stress resistance, you do not need to resort to any special exercises. The thing is that our life is replete with stresses, big and small. And every time we come into contact with this or that stress factor (mizgir, street boor, stupid colleague or grumpy wife), we get the opportunity to exercise to develop stress resistance. It's just important to start perceiving stress as a practice of strength and not as an energy hole.

AND NOW A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE TECHNIQUE OF IMPROVING YOUR STRESS RESISTANCE.

When you pull up on a horizontal bar, it's also stress. However, you do not just consciously expose yourself to it, you also have in your head a certain standard of movement, which you are trying to adhere to. Simply put, being in a state of tension, nevertheless, follow the technique of performing the exercise . This idea of ideal movement is your goal on which you focus your attention. In the case of contact with any other stressful factor, maintaining your resistance to stress will be fundamentally the same.

For example, in the absence of mutual understanding with anyone else, you do not focus on the assessments that you give to your interlocutor, but constantly keep in your head some ideal line of your behavior . As soon as you begin to analyze the moral aspect of your opponent's behavior , you immediately break down emotionally, and it is your assessment of his actions, words and deeds that is a stressful factor for you.

On the contrary, if you abstract from your assessments, and concentrate on a certain standard of your own behavior , then this allows you to stop emotionally reacting to the attacks of the interlocutor and implement your own strategy. Another thing is that for this you need to have in your head a fairly clear image of this standard of behavior. And here we touch on moral issues, because it is your morality that is responsible for creating this image.

In other words: have in your head the image of a noble person and always and everywhere, in any conditions, among any people and events, try to correspond to it. This standard will be the spiritual support that will always support you, not allowing you to show weakness.

STRESS TOLERANCE AND MORALITY

We call stress-resistant people noble. Noble not in terms of origin, but in terms of the presence of their inner personal strength. A noble person is a person who carries good in himself. Not destruction, not conflict, but good, that is, integrity, self-sufficiency.

In contrast to him, a person of a bad kind is quarrelsome, petty, a carrier of internal contradictions. He cultivates weaknesses in himself and is their hostage. He is self-destructive. And he transfers his inner conflict to the outside world.

And strength - it is in integrity, in the ability to bring many things to a common denominator, to balance and stabilize. This is spiritual good. And we call the carriers of this inner strength noble people - those who broadcast their spiritual good outside, organizing being in their own image and likeness.
