Eckhart Tolle, author of A New Earth and The Power of Now, quotes Krishnamurti as describing the path to enlightenment this way: ‘I don’t mind what happens.’

When I heard this, I sensed this was important, but it sounded shocking. For someone like me, it was uncomfortable saying ‘what happens’ because it gave, in my mind, a reality to the unreal. To me, much of the human experience is blind to the REAL Creation, the one that is connected to both Creator and Creation.

I then thought of another way of saying the phrase so that it would work better for me until I grasped it. I decided to say it in a way that I could bond with it. ‘I don’t mind anything.’

This is a truly great tool for those who have been working so hard to give up judgment. What a huge step toward enlightenment !

We can say this whenever we don’t feel good about something. Each time we repeat ‘I don’t mind what happens’ or ‘I don’t mind anything.’ When we do, we are taking a step toward AWAKENING, the moment that is required to find PEACE, SERENITY, FREEDOM and eventually ENLIGHTENMENT. We are taking ourselves out of the destructive loop before we get into it. Please repeat this often: ‘I don’t mind anything’ we are feeling at home with what is, the perfect place to take our next step forward. From there we can start detaching from our agendas in favor of being in a state of peace —REGARDLESS of what seems to be happening.

What is inspiring our goals? Are we driven by a belief that we are inadequate and need to do something special to be good enough? If this is so, we may be hiding behind our goals rather than living our dreams . It is better to be guided from within, and obey the inner direction. We would then be aligning ourselves with our Divine, Life Purpose.

'Why am I here?' you ask? You are here to work towards creating a huge Consciousness of LOVE and GRATITUDE; to FORGIVE and to turn your life over to the Higher Power. THAT is what I believe to be the meaning of life!

What would you say if someone told you that right now, you were completely off track?

I'd like to think you'd answered him, ‘I don’t mind anything’ and then listen to see if there was more for you to learn.

Life can be fun when we are detached from the ego! Life is meant to be appreciated one precious moment at a time, free of negative past emotions and unedited by another's opinion.

We are totally surrounded and filled with the substance of Love, the Creator/Creation/Spirit, the Infinite All. In spite of this, we busy ourselves seeking pleasures outside of ourselves, in personalities and things that will either disappear or let us down. Appreciation of the ‘here and now’ is available, totally unlimited, unfailingly forever, beautiful, alive, vibrant and without boundaries. Grab onto it and hold fast!

Consider this:At the end of our days, all we bring with us is ‘who we are’— Our essence, soul or consciousness.

EVERYTHING ELSE WE FOCUSED UPON, WAS HOW WE CHOSE TO WASTE OUR LIVES.

We can continue to suffer, chasing fantasies and pursuing our addictions, or... invest in a Spiritual Life by creatinga spiritual, conscious awareness which will lead us to AWAKENING and ultimately, ENLIGHTENMENT.
