Happiness , logically speaking; is a most illogical, yet a supremely mystical state of mind and emotion, that rejuvenates almost everyone who experiences it. Though seldom, it is extremely powerful to dissolve the barriers of space and time. It can reverse the irreversible dimension of ‘Age’ by converting apprehensive and pensive adulthood to jubilant and ecstatic childhood in a fraction of time.

Can money buy happiness ?
Before answering this question, our mind just gasps: Is money that mighty to buy the most precious human emotion - ‘ happiness ’? The answer to both these connected rhetorical questions is a dichotomous - ‘Yes, it can buy illusionary happiness ’ coined with ‘No, it cannot buy happiness that’s real’!

Does this answer sound like a Sour Grape? Indeed it does. So, let's stroll into the vineyard of ‘life’ and understand this duality about happiness. We need to know how money and happiness are related-are they interdependent, conditional or independent?

Just imagine, an ultra rich owner, in a luxurious yacht, on an exclusive vacation, wanting to get relaxed and be happy, as he is mentally and emotionally exhausted due to his expansive lifestyle, versus one of the cleaning attendants on the same yacht, thoroughly excited and oozing vibrant energy, as he never even imagined being on such an expensive cruise in his lifetime.

Who seems happier - the super affluent Owner or the commoner Attendant?Surely, it's the attendant! He has no big money, but he is genuinely happier than the owner of the yacht, who has a huge amount of money. Nevertheless, the happiness of the attendant is temporary. On seeing the owner of the yacht, the attendant builds an illusion that money can buy happiness and gets trapped in the sadness of why he’s not as fortunate as the owner is.

On the other hand, the owner already has all the money in the world to buy any commodity he wishes to, but is he truly happy, even when relaxing in an ultra-luxurious yacht? No, he isn’t.

Thus, this one example explains to us the aforementioned dual answer:
‘Yes, money can buy the illusionary happiness’ - which the attendant is perceiving right now,
‘No, it cannot buy happiness that’s real’, or else the owner of the yacht would have been one of the happiest persons in the world, which is not the case at all!

This confirms that whether a Prince or a Pauper, happiness is the ‘state of mind’ based on one’s perspective, irrespective of any external objects or conditions whatsoever. Hence, this affirms that happiness is not a commodity that is bought with money. It does also imply that happiness is natural, universal and easily and freely available to one and all, irrespective of one’s monetary status, provided we have inherent happiness-perspective or mindset.

Now, if happiness is so basic, then why is it so rare globally? Why does everyone seem to struggle so much to be happy? Is it a mirage or an illusion we run after? Or a real inner emotional collage we shun in laughter? Or sadly but surely, ‘Happy until in a Nappy’, is the self-explanatory laconic statement that is a practical dissertation on happiness? Why, even on having ample knowledge books and psychological treatments available on ‘happiness’, there is still an emptiness all around? Do we really have any unambiguous knowledge or a guideline that can not only explain what real happiness is but also confers true bliss? Can we have our own magical wand to guarantee a ‘Happy Life Bond’!

Fortunately, we are blessed to have most basic, yet completely scientific, serene technology of inner consciousness i.e. the Akram Vigyan, a ‘step-less path to Self-Realization’, which is an omnipotent science that answers all our queries, and if sincerely imbibed can make us omnipotent too! Akram Vigyan is divinely designed and devised by the great spiritual maestro and the moksha scientist Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan aka A.M.Patel (Dadashri) a simple family man, enlightened through Self-Realization.

The Happiness of worldly life lies in Normality
When there is neither scarcity nor surplus, that is known as happiness. There is no unhappiness if normality is maintained in everything that you do; in eating, drinking, getting up-sitting down, in moving around, in working.

What people regard as happiness is not happiness. Happiness is that, which when once comes, it is not followed by misery (again). Secondly, what people in the world call happiness, is worldly happiness. It is not true happiness. True Happiness is the contented state of 'chitt' (inner consciousness). The person who has attained the contended state of 'chitt' need not beg for anything in this world!

When you give happiness to others, you will receive happiness, and when you give unhappiness to others, you will receive unhappiness. This is human religion .

Gnani’s Advisory On Happiness And Misery:There is no happiness in what worldly people believe (happiness) in, there is happiness in what the Enlightened One believes in. “That is why we openly say”, says Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, the Enlightened being, “The happiness that you seek cannot be found in this (worldly life). Happiness is in the Self (Aatma, the Soul). We have tasted that happiness, we have experienced it. That is why we tell everyone to come on ‘this side’ (of the real Self), there is no happiness on the ‘other side’ (in worldly self)!”

So, happiness does not need to be sought externally, there is boundless happiness within!Hence, let’s go to the Akram Gnani, the Enlightened One, with His grace, let’s attain Self-Realization and taste the boundless happiness that lies within.
