Do you want to know why I think it works?

I believe it works because there is physical evidence, if the brain is stimulated in a repetitive, rhythmic manner, that it will physically change, growing new blood vessels and neural pathways, and you can see all of this on a brain scan. New brain pathways produce new states of consciousness. The brain physically changes with repeated stimulation.

Brain wave entrainment is a repetitive, rhythmic stimulation deliberately introduced to the brain in specific wave patterns changing the state of consciousness, therefore, it too can change the brain by making new brain pathways.

When you think of brainwave entrainment today, you probably envision mp3's or cd's that are man-made and designed to entrain or manipulate your natural brain wave state into a designed pattern in order to produce a certain effect. The brain follows along and duplicates or copies the wave pattern of the audio program, shaving years off of practices like meditation , for example.

And that's exactly what it is.

But did you know that brainwave entrainment happens everyday of your life, with or without the direct intention of an engineered session?

Our brains are being entrained when we listen to the tap dripping in the bathroom. Before long, our brains are manufacturing alpha waves that match the pattern of the water dropping onto the porcelain sink.

Have you ever listened to the frogs croaking in the early summer? Again, it doesn't take long before you're lulled into a relaxed, calm state, your brain in alpha, following the pattern of the pond's orchestra. You'll probably fall into a natural, wonderful sleep.

On another level, you become entrained when you sit in on a meeting. You may be either subdued or invigorated, depending on the patterns of the brainwaves emanating from the majority of the people in the room. You'll match their demeanor wave for wave.

Brainwave entrainment is a natural phenomenon. Our brains easily entrain whether it's by specific intention or by natural events.

Your brain was made to adapt and is critical to the quality of your life... and not just physically.

It is constantly changing and adapting in direct response to what you think, see, and hear, and how you interpret what you think, see, and hear, no matter how old you are.

Brain plasticity, no longer a theory but a fact, is all about the connections in your brain and how they can be changed, either made stronger or eliminated. If a connection is strengthened, that part of the brain, its gray matter, will grow and can be visually seen on a brain scan. If the connection is eliminated, like what happens after using entrainment to release negative blocks from bad programming as a kid, the gray matter for that part of the brain will grow smaller or even disappear, and can be seen on a brain scan.

When sound frequencies are introduced to the brain with the purpose of strengthening an area, like raising your IQ, for example, over time, with repeated applications, your brain matter will change and new neural pathways will form.

Your IQ will rise, substantially, and stay there--unless you decide to stop thinking altogether. As with anything, you either use it, or lose it.

This will permanently change a brain if that area is stimulated enough times. If you put your brain into the alpha wave state to learn something new, it will usually take you about 20 repetitions before it sticks. If you use theta brain waves to incorporate a new idea, it may only take you a couple of times.

This idea of this is beyond exciting, its implications mind-boggling, and far reaching. With this type of therapy, stroke victims would be able to make new neural circuitries in undamaged areas of the brain, bypassing the area that was damaged, allowing for unresponsive limbs to possibly come back to life. Research has proven that you can wake up areas of the brain, and people with brain damage, can grow new gray matter and improve their life.

And this works for psychological areas as well. The most flexible circuits of the brain are the areas of conscious decision, emotional regulation, social awareness, and motivation . They can be reprogrammed easily with the right stimulation.

You can retrain the brain.

Sometimes we need to see physical evidence before we can believe something works and that's what's so great about brain wave entrainment.

There is physical evidence that brainwave entrainment works. It shows up on those brain scans.

Whatever area of the brain that you are working on, with a regular repetition of a specifically engineered audio session, will grow, reorganize, and strengthen the internal structure of the changing existing synapses.

If you are seeking emotional stability, brain wave entrainment will foster new neural connections and pathways, enlarging that area of the brain. Patterns of thoughts and behaviour will change.

You will change. Emotional stability will be yours by default.

You can really change who you are.

Brainwave entrainment will forge new neural pathways in your gray matter, like white water sculpts the walls of a canyon.

Now all you have to do is decide who you want to be.

I'm curious. who do you want to be?
