A large amount of consumers hear about timeshares all the time. Understanding that timeshares allow Americans a home to take vacations to around the world, a large number of consumers decide to purchase timeshares. However, throughout ownership, several Americans find that this is not actually what they signed up for. Although, they were told that they could vacation whenever they want, a large number of of these consumers found that they have a fixed week ownership and can only vacation a single week yearly. Also, many Americans simply felt as though they were rushed into buying their timeshares.

After realizing that their timeshares aren't exactly what they want, many consumers decide to try and sell their properties. Some of these Americans make this decision because when they were sold their timeshares, they were told that it would be a great investment. The timeshares should grow in value right? Well, this isn't exactly the case. Once people find out how hard it is to sell their timeshares, they feel backed against a wall. After being lied to about being able to vacation at any time and trying to sell their timeshares based on false statements of investments, and thinking of the hard financial times we are facing as a country, several Americans are looking for a way to get rid of their timeshares.

The good news is, I have found the best way for these Americans to relieve themselves of the burden of timeshare ownership. The process is called timeshare elimination. Timeshare elimination is the process of legally deeding a timeshare back to the developer based on discrepancies in the sales process and/or contract associated with the timeshare. The best part about it is that a lot of Americans receive a refund from the timeshare developer to cover losses associated with the timeshare at question. So, what makes timeshare cancellation work?

Well, it's a really simple concept. If a consumer walks into a shoe store and buys a box of shoes that has writing on it that says the shoes are blue but, when the consumer gets home and opens the box, the shoes are red, then that consumer brings the shoes back and gets a refund. This isn't because the shoe store wants to give a refund, this is because the shoe store recognizes that they are at fault for the misunderstanding. Now, we all know that timeshares are a extremely different product than shoes but, the process works about the same.

Timeshare sales representatives have a huge rule book that they must follow when selling timeshares. Unfortunately for a great deal of people, timeshare sales representatives don't always follow these rules. Fortunately for several Americans however, timeshare developers know that some sales representatives will slip when making a sale. Once a timeshare sales representative rushes, lies to or otherwise misleads a potential buyer, that buyer gains a great deal of power in giving the timeshare back.

Timeshare elimination is however a legal process. With that said, I do advise people to get a professional involved if they make the decision to move forward with the process. Below, I have included links to a few trusted companies!
