Many people learn the above principles, but do not apply them.

As the Nike ad says,

JUST DO IT

and to end off, I'll share my favourite thoughts on what is success (and what it means to me)....

SUCCESS

"To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;to appreciate beauty , to find the best in others;

to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;

to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Inside each of us are powers so strong,
treasures so rich, possibilities so endless,
that to command them all to action
would change the history of the world."
- anon

A Hero In Every Heart
"The roots of true achievement lie in the will to
become the best that you can become."
- Harold Taylor

"Success to others may be apparent in what you DO; but significance, meaning and purpose lies, then reveals itself in what you ARE and BECOME down the 'river of life' - how and the spirit with which you face, then overcome the daily obstacles, the frequent trials and tribulations along the often very rocky path-way of life's magical and mysterious journey. Light your path brightly."- craig

Submitter's Note:Craig has been studying the human mind, the "secrets of success" and succcessful living for the past two decades. This article is based on points from a most inspirational book by Napoleon Hill titled 'UNLIMITED SUCCESS' (publisher Melville Powers, US) . I am sharing the contents of this work in the spirit of encouraging and hopefully even inspiring those people, who really want to "achieve unlimited success" to read the book...and just GO FOR IT with all you've got.

Thank you sincerely, Mr Hill for sharing your words of wisdom in encouraging me to follow my "untrodden path" with passion and reach for my personal dreams . I WILL UNTIL.

"I'd rather attempt to do something great and fail, than try doing something ordinary and succeed."- Norman Vincent Peale

"Our Greatest Good is perhaps not to achieve wealth and share our material possessions, our money and 'riches' with others, but through encouragement and faith in other people, to lay the firm foundation of revealing the rich treasure that lies within themselves.Perhaps that is true success in life."

As a bonus, enjoy some more of my favourite quotes...

"He who cherishes a beautiful vision, a lofty ideal in his heart, will one day realize it.
Dream lofty dreams and as you dream so shall you become."
- James Allen

"You will do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm."- Colette

As the ancient Chinese proverb said so wisely...
"The journey of a thousand miles begins with ...
a broken fan belt and a leaky tire."

"Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate accomplishments."
- Napoleon Hill

"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Together, one mind at a time, let's see how many people we can impact, uplift, encourage and perhaps even inspire to reach their fullest potentials."

PPS:
As they carry me to my deathbed, I'll be saying:
"Lord,
Can you just give me one more hour to finish off one last article. PLEASE!"
