Why a morning routine is crucial

Most of the successful people have a daily morning routine and this must have a reason. Successful people develop routines not because they are eccentric or OCD bur for a simple reason: they want to overcome the friction in their lives so they can concentrate on what they do best.

Contrary to that, most of us try to get up as late as possible. Some people, even if they are working and has to go to work early, they wake up late and rush to work, skipping breakfast and calmness of morning and then try to catch up the rest of the day. This type of cycle comes with the price of your mental and physical health which majorly affect your productivity at work and daily life.If you want to work smarter, not harder, then you have to create good habits which include a healthy morning routine.

The first thing you need to do is leave the idea that you are a “night owl" and can't change yourself. As suggested by the doctors of Inform clinic .

Working on “habit stacking” to give yourself a healthy morning routine that also works for you. Stack a new habit on top of something you are already doing. For example, Meditate (new habit) for a few minutes just after brushing your teeth (you do it already). Set personal ritual for yourself, it will put you in the right mindset.

You can also avoid mental fatigue by creating a morning ritual.

The certain amount of energy and willpower you have when you wake up each morning gets drained away slowly with decisions you make. If you are making many small decisions in the morning that mean nothing like what to wear and what to it, it will affect the way you make decisions for the rest of the day. Decide such things a night before. Try not to have too much variation with a routine in the first hour of your day.
Knowing exactly how the first hour of your day goes is powerful, as it helps you feel non-reactive and in control, which in turn decreases the anxiety and ensures your productivity throughout your day.
Your life will not change until you change something you do on daily basis. John C. Maxwell says that the secret of your success is found in your daily routine.
When you have a morning routine that you follow daily, it diminishes the necessity to make decisions every day. It lets us know specifically what you need to do every day without deciding, contemplating, or think too much. After finishing one thing, you know what next thing to do without much think is. Actions become patterned and you become more efficient as a consequence.
A morning routine gives a logical sequence and structure in your life. It implements a framework. It will let you experience a flow to your day.

The secret behind developing good routine is repetition. When you have a routine that works for you, it promotes creating good habits by boosting you to repeat the same thing again and again.
While a morning routine helps you to incorporate good habits into your life which utilize your full potential, it also helps you to annihilate bad habits that do not serve you well. You can replace your unwanted habits with good ones gradually through repetition.
Gradually, you become skilled at doing several things because you do it on daily basis. That is a good way to mastering any skill.
When you thoughtfully create a good routine and stick to it, it lets you get the significant things done first and make them out of the way. You can not forget or neglect things then. Because the essential tasks have been done and we know that we will accomplish what is necessary and not waste time and energy on silly things.
Having a set morning routine wants you to prioritize things and makes you decide what is more important to you. Instead of making these choices on a regular basis, you already know what you have to do and in what flow, because you have planned it.
You don't need a lot of determination or willpower to brush your teeth in the morning because for most of the people it is a daily ritual. You rarely think about it; you just do it. Similarly, any other tasks followed in a routine reduces the need for willpower and determination.

Doing the same things on a regular basis creates a momentum, which makes it easier to continue. It also helps in developing a self confidence as it gives you a feeling of a great satisfaction. That makes you continue your routine and receive the benefits linked with it.
There are many things in our lives that are not in our control, and we should accept it. Nonetheless, there are so many other things in our life that we can control. Having a routine and sticking to it reduces a lot of stress because you do not have to worry about what things needs to get done over and over again. It gives you a sense of control in life and helps you relax.
Many people believe that following a routine takes up a lot of time, but instead, it actually grants us with more free time. Not everything in our lives has to be scheduled or organized into a routine.
Our goals and ambitions if ever achieved are rarely all at once. Successful people achieve their goals by repeating the same things again and again.
Everybody is different and has different needs, goals, resources and desires. That is why it is essential to have your own morning routine designed by yourself after exactly deciding what we want to accomplish in your lives.

Having a routine is nothing but a conscious choice to live a life in a particular way through healthy and good repetition. It is one of the step to happiness and success.
