I'm not a fan of excuses. Matter of fact, I downright do not like excuses. When my daughter makes the statement: I can't or I do not know, I have an answer for her. My answer: "As long as you have God and Google you can do and know anything." Well, I think you get my drift. Do you believe you can do anything? Some people's wills are stronger, and some people's ways are made easier. But what does that have to do with you? Maybe you need more confidence, knowledge or education in some areas. There is always a way to get what you want and need. My question to you, are you allowing excuses to be the master of your mind and life?

Excuses set limits on your will and blocks the road to your purpose and passion . Have you been serving the master of excuses? How does it make you feel? Not to good, right? When you allow excuses to control your spirit and destiny, you voluntarily relinquish your power.

Do you believe you have a purpose? If so, do you know your purpose? There is something significant you are supposed to be doing right now. What is it? You have used every excuse made to man to not move to the next level. Is it fear, discomfort; change? It's time to pass from a lifetime of excuses to "no more excuses." Now is the time to rid yourself of all the excuses that has held you back for so long. It's not always your mother, father, spouse, child, job, finances or education that is stopping you. Look in the mirror. What do you see? It's YOU!

How to transform your thinking and behavior to stop making excuses?

1. Have confidence in yourself, talents, and abilities. Do not doubt your qualifications.

2. Grab opportunities. When you procrastinate your success waits. Have confidence to know that you have what it takes to be great.

3. Focus on your victories and learn from your errors. Don't spoil your ability to stand out because you fear you will not succeed. List your accomplishments, get encouragement from a mentor; have a friend for accountability and motivation .

4. Be truthful with yourself. If you are serious about your vision or a goal, nothing should stop you. Your excuses for not doing what you want could actually be hiding the real reason for why you don't get ahead.
