Eat Healthy

It has been said that being overweight by 10 pounds can add 5 years to your looks. With the extra weight you lose the definition between your jaw line and neck which ages us. Try to eat 5 fruits or vegetable a day. Drink lots of water. Avoid coffee when you can. Caffeine dries you out it's a diuretic. Water moisturizes skin from within.

A healthy, balanced diet has lots of benefits, including feeling better and looking better. Many fruits and vegetables, including berries, tomatoes and broccoli, contain phytochemicals, which improve cognitive functions and prevent disease. And vitamin C, found in citrus fruits, helps us to handle stress better in addition to helping us fight colds. Breathe-exhaling relieves stress, clears the lungs, increases mental focus and contracts the abdomen.

Love Your Locks

Find a happy middle. Avoid wearing hair too long. As you age it becomes less flattering. Avoid wearing it too short. A severe short hair cut can also tack on the years. Have bangs! Bangs soften the face and are flattering on anyone. Avoid blunt cut bangs. Try side swept or long layered bangs.

Breathe

Exhaling relieves stress, clears the lungs, increases mental focus and contracts the abdomen. You can actually tone the belly by learning to breathe properly.

Stop Over-Exfoliating

Peeling, burning, and abrading the skin refines its appearance, but it can also weaken the skins immunity. Too much exfoliating can eventually kill skin cells. Ask your skin care professional for gentle peels, and feed facial skin with live cell extracts, and essential oils.

Cherish your health

Cherish your health. If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it.If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

Keep Laughing

Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.

Love

Surround yourself with what you love whether it’s family, pets , keepsakes, music, plants, and hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

Shopping

If you’re the youngest shopper in a clothing store, maybe it’s for a reason. Stop pretending the cute pink tube top at Forever 21 is for your daughter. Put it back on the shelf and walk quietly toward the exit.

Don’t wear comfortable undies that stick out of your cool low-rise jeans when you sit down. Granny panties immediately cancel the coolness.

Exercise harder

Exercise harder (though not necessarily longer). Far and away, the most important thing you can do to offset the aging process is exercise . You don't need to spend a lot of time doing it, however. Short bouts of intense exercise are more effective than longer workouts. Long, easy workouts have their place in a fitness program, especially for aerobic efficiency and fat burning, but nothing comes close to high-intensity training for keeping your body young.

Sleep

Improve your ability to sleep. Sleep also increases GH production, along with many other things that repair breakdown from the rigors of living. Sleeping 7 to 8 hours a day—along with short naps when you can manage it—will keep your body tuned and ready to run. Deep sleep is where we make the most dramatic changes in our bodies' physiologies.
