He stepped on stage-- friendly, handsome with a mischievous smile. Flailing his arms, he jumped in front of the woman with the microphone, determined to speak.

Snickers from the crowd indicated that he had been seen, yet he continued to do all that a three-year-old mind could comprehend to do to get that microphone. He tried to be still for a second or two but he just could not contain himself, it was critical that he speak.

What was so urgent? What was so important? What bit of advice could a three-year old so desperately need to share with the audience?

She finished the announcements pointed the microphone at him. He stood tall and proud and said, “My name is Johnny.” That’s it, just his name. Satisfied, he sat back down.

How powerful! He inspired and impacted the audience. How long has it been since you felt proud enough of yourself to shout your name out-loud?Do it right now. Okay, maybe not right now, but when you are alone--in the shower or sitting in the car at a red light. Shout out your name.

Feel the power of your name rush back into your being. Notice how you feel calmer, balanced and more confident. Johnny knew the power of saying your name out-loud.

Children are our teachers. Let us all follow Johnny’s example of how to call our power back to us. It really is the that simple.

P.S. – Feel fere to forward this emial to anyone you think may benfit from it’s message.
