I looked up the definition of the word sense on Wikipedia. It says: Senses are the physiological capacities within organisms that provide inputs for perception.

Most of us tend to think of the five traditional senses when we discuss senses; sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. This classification is attributed to Aristotle.

The senses, how many there are, and how they operate is still debated amongst the neuroscientists. The disagreement mainly roots in differing definitions of what constitutes a sense.

In addition to the traditional five senses humans are also considered to have senses like nociception (pain), equilibrioception (balance), proprioception and kinaesthesia (joint motion and acceleration), sense of time, thermoception (temperature differences), just to mention the main additional senses traditional science operates with.

I did not find any mention of the sixth sense amongst the senses being considered. The sixth sense mostly associated with being psychic and telepathic, is actually our first sense. If we go far enough back into our history, we see that this was how we communicated before we had developed the ability to speak.

At this stage in our development we lived in small communities consisting of a few families , and to secure the groups survival it would have been crucial that everyone participated and that communication worked effortlessly. If your telepathic abilities were poor or not well developed you would not be able to communicate and participate properly in the activities of the group; as a result of this – you would not survive!

This sixth sense is still present in all of us today. We have just forgotten how to use it. Some of us are able to use this sense naturally, and these people are considered to be psychic. But, we all have this ability, it is in our human genes; we just need to learn how to use it again.

I looked up on Wikipedia again to find the definition of psychic. And it says: A psychic is a person who professes the ability to perceive information hidden from the normal senses trough extrasensory perception (ESP). Extrasensory perception involves reception of information not gained trough the recognized physical senses but sensed with the mind.

So the reception device for this kind of information is in our brains: To be more precise the pineal gland which is the centre for intuition (also known as the third eye) located in the middle of our heads.

We have to take a step into the quantum physics to try to understand how it is possible to perceive information in this way.

If we look at the small particles that everything in our universe is made up of we start noticing that everything is energy. Our bodies, and the rest of the material world we see around us, our consciousness and our thoughts – everything is energy.

And this energy contains information; incidents, objects, thoughts – they all carry and emit information. This is why for instance someone able to read and interpret this energy can hold an object and tell you where this object has been or tell you something about the person it belongs to.

You can imagine the universe as being an enormous energy matrix where all information about everything is stored. And this is not some trick of the mind; it is how the reality really looks like. The quantum physicists are just starting to develop theories to explain how this all works.

I am not able to explain in detail how and why it is possible. I just know through experience that it works!
