Clean your linens more often

Linens are not cleaned often enough in most cases. Sure, they end up going to the laundry every now and then but for the most part, they don’t get the same treatment as your clothes for instance. Cleanse your dish washing sponge

The sponge you use for the dishes is actually an incredible source of bacteria. The kind of bacteria that resides on a sponge can actually cause you serious health problems so it’s important to cleanse your sponge as often as possible. You can either microwave it every week or even more often than that, or use the dishwasher. You could also just throw it out and get a new one if you don’t want to go the economy route.

Movement

Moving and putting motion through your body is critical. Many people are what is referred to as “couch potatoes” but they aren’t aware that even the smallest effort will have a tremendously beneficial effect. If you put in even the slightest effort each day your body will have a lot to be thankful for. Just sit up and do a couple dozen jumping jax and you should be in a completely different mood.

Sleep is very important

You might think that it’s nothing if you are being woken up in the middle of the night, because you can just go back to sleep. However, disturbing your deep sleep is one of the worst things that people could do to your health. Make sure that when you hit the hay, you won’t be disturbed. Close your room’s door and put your phone on silent. You can be your own health hero by not denying your body the much needed rest it deserves.

Sleep in the nude

There are some people that already sleep naked but there also people that don’t want to do that. However, sleeping without underwear will allow your genitals to dry and prevent infections and bacteria. This can ultimately result in the prevention of nasty infections that you will be thankful about preventing. It’s a neat little trick and who knows, you might actually enjoy it.

Pulling your toes

Pulling your toes might seem like a silly thing to do, but in actuality pulling your toes after you grab them will help your blood circulate through your body a lot better. After being cramped up in shoes all day long during work and chores, your feet will not be able to move blood properly. Pulling your toes will help your feet pick up the slack and get better circulation through your feet.

Keeping these tips in mind will help you stay a little bit healthier. These tips won’t make you immune to bacteria or health concerns, but they will make a world of difference when it comes to your overall health and how you feel every day.
