Kevin Xu is a biotech entrepreneur , a philanthropist, writer and a receiver of the California State Los Angeles’ Presidential Medallion. He is a member of Clinton Global Initiative. Kevin Xu is a founder of several multiple profitable companies. He is the CEO of Human Heritage Project and National Rongxiang Xu Foundation. Early Life
Kevin was born in Jinan, Shandong Province in China in 1988. In 2010, he graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience.
Career
After completing his graduation, he joined his father company of cellular regeneration research company, MEBO. Kevin was responsible for promoting MEBO’s work regarding reducing pain during the recovery from severe burns. Kevin started MEBO International research and Management Company based upon his father’s work. The company worked towards human body restorative science.
Moreover, he created an educational platform to study organ regeneration and growth. Mr. Xu in 2015 became the CEO of MEBO. Apart from this, he is a CEO of Skingenix, it is a research and development company focusing on drug development for organ regeneration. With the help of this substitute therapy, he earned recognition with scientific and medical community.
Furthermore, Kevin Xu receiver of the Presidential Medallion. He was awarded this for outstanding leadership and extraordinary service to the students and faculty of Cal State LA. Since the inception of the award in 1983, Kevin is one among ten people to have receive it.
Reason for Starting Non-profit Organizations
For Kevin Xu, his father was a role model for him. His father dedicated his life providing medical treatment. After his father passed away, Mr. Xu established a foundation in his memory. National Rongxiang Xu Foundation was formed for continuing the work of his father. While Human Heritage Project was established with the aim to educate on how to pass bond between society and disadvantaged people.
In 2014, Mr. Xu along with his wife, formed the $20,000 Brighten Award for Entrepreneur Gerontology at the USC Davis School of Gerontology. The award is named after their son and is offered to students every year. The award is given to those who show interest in the science of aging .
Kevin Xu is motivated by the satisfaction of helping others. According to Mr. Xu, you feel more satisfied by empowering others to succeed instead of helping yourself.

During 2013, Kevin Xu received many awards. He was given LA County Scroll Award. In the same year, he was the Gold Award Winner in Davey Award. The award was for education, biotechnology and science. Moreover, he was given Silver Award in Davey Awards for experimental, Strange and Unusual. He was provided the Interactive Media Award for Outstanding Achievement in Science and Technology.
