How’s your game? Good, I hope. For some, they’re in bliss, and for others there is a lack of harmony in society right now that adversely affects their ‘game’. As a world, we’re experiencing challenges and polarization in many respects. And for some, this may feel as though we’re surfing a wave of conflict. However, we must remember to play the long game. We’re all in this together, living a life. A life that is meant to be long. Whether in bliss or frustrated with the state you or we are in presently, play the long game. The strategy of the long game is to advance downfield by throwing the ball to a receiving player, not merely trying to score and getting what you want immediately. There are ups and downs when playing the long game. There’ll be moments where you’ll appear to be unsuccessful as well. However, it’s the long game. Ride the waves of disappointment, frustration and sadness because they are real. But don’t be defeated.

How would we know the sun if there was not darkness? We wouldn’t mention what a beautiful day it was, because that would always be the way it is. Because of darkness, we know light. Because of death we truly appreciate life.

So work your long game. Work it! (finger snap) No matter where you are now, or how you feel about society, know that there is always an opportunity for the success that you want to see.
