The Good Idea/Mentors

Good day to you all…..

A little late you say? Yes, you are right. I am out of routine…the children are home today, I’m running instead of working, and I’m a little distracted.

So to move on… May you love and be loved, may you find candy under your pillow (even if you put it there yourself) and a flower in your garden!!!

Speaking of love….I was surrounded by it yesterday. I met with some utterly fantastic, unselfish, motivated, loving, kind, and caring seniors.

When you are in the presence of total acceptance, warmth, and welcome - you really do feel it. (Sounds like prayer!)

I was so impressed yesterday when I found out that there is a group of seniors whose job it is to care for children in need. Sometimes that is unheard of, isn’t it?

These wonderful people take time out of their day to be mentors!!! They supply assistance, hugs, smiles, and hope to those little ones who struggle because of one reason or another.

Do we do that? Are we mentors to someone else? Do we care for the uncared for? And if we do, do we do it from our hearts? My group yesterday does it from their hearts and it shows. I really do applaud them.

It is more than wonderful when I am hired to give a motivational seminar and I am the one being blessed by the group. WOW – I felt like there was a “surprise in every box!”

We never know where our blessings will come from. We set out to do one thing and lo and behold something else takes place. This confirms the fact that we might have an idea of what we are going to do but the good Lord steps in and changes the outcome just a bit.

On this “loving” weekend, I extend love to all of you whose job it is to love on others. (That should cover all of us!) Be well and be happy and most of all be loved!

Love, it is the greatest command that we have. Do it and make a difference. Nancy
