It’s a little known fact that one of the greatest implosion of millionaires in U.S. history happened during the Great Depression . Challenging times cause some people to fall and others to rise under pressure. But history has repeatedly shown that visionaries see opportunities and make the most of it.

Conrad Hilton started Hilton Hotels {then motels} renting boarding rooms to people traveling to seek work during the Great Depression . Sam Walmart started Walmart as a family discount store. Levi Strauss was making and selling tents and wagon covers to prospectors during the gold rush. He made jeans with leftover canvas material - adding cotton after complaints of being itchy on the skin. He and a Nevada tailor streamlined and patented the now iconic double stitch, metal tab design. The rest is history.

Would you like to be amongst those great visionaries? You can!

Here are just a FEW ways you can capitalize off this transition period in our economy by creating your own stimulus “job plan”. :

[NOTE: Start working with one or several of these part time in addition to your current work until this income surpasses your current take home pay]

1) SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

Use your savvy social media skills to market for small businesses and start ups. [local or international]

Establish your fee and time frame. Write articles, visit forums, refer through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.

Write a well written press release. Include all associated fees within plus markup for your time and skills.

This is a GREAT option for college students, stay at home moms, and freelance writers

Start up businesses can also seek these people by placing ads on Craigslist.org, Backpage.com and Freelancer.com

2) CREATE YOUR OWN PRODUCT

You've had an innovative idea for the longest. It may be a trinket, a book, DVD , CD, video on demand or an effective innovation that can benefit society. DO IT!

Get a domain name. Create the product. Protect original concepts via Copyright, Patent or Trademark.

Use the same marketing tactics above [press release, articles, forums, Facebook, Instagram, Etsy, Twitter, LinkedIn, Craigslist etc] to tell the world about your product or service. Be sure to tell them 1) what it is 2) how it will benefit/help them 3) price 4) where they can get it [website or location]

This is a GREAT opportunity for people with hobbies of which they are passionate to turn it into a career. Now's the time. Carpe diem!

3) WHOLESALE PRODUCTS AND RESELL ON EBAY

Find name brand products at quality discount stores like TJ Maxx, Target or Marshalls. Go to the clearance rack for the absolute BEST prices and be discerning. Stick with name brand products. They will sell faster. Keep manufacturer tags on.

Take quality pics with your digital. Upload to your website or on eBay.

4) INVEST

Look for places that provide high interest returns [20% to 300% or more are not uncommon]. Some interesting ones are:

FOREX

Options

Futures

ETF

Index Funds

*Please Note: High return investments often require high risk. Learn what you're doing. Find a proven system, experienced advisor or robotic investment tool that yields high returns that you can put on auto-pilot to take the emotion out of investing .

5) REAL ESTATE

Buy undervalued real estate in a good location and rent it out OR lease with the option to buy from you for a profit. Go to auctions for the best prices or buy real estate via short sales from banks from people who are in danger of foreclosure.

You can buy and resell or even do something charitable and lease it back to the people who live in the home who can afford the monthly rent but not the back taxes/mortgage default to to a gap in employment or major unexpected expense.

New at real estate investing ? No money to get started as yet? Try "bird dogging" for other real estate investors. That's locating properties for sale by owners or abandoned properties and referring them to investors to purchase. Investors often pay up to $1000 per referral [or more] of properties they actually buy.

6)START YOUR OWN BUSINESS

Have a business idea you've been thinking about for awhile? Is it a solution to something others need? Get out your pen and paper - or tablet - or desktop computer and write out a business plan.

No matter how great the idea, you do need a plan. What do you need? Who do you need that can help you? How much will it cost? How long will it take from development to market?

There's free help available in your community. Retired CEOs of Business SCORE programs in the USA and local mentors. This could be a parent, former teacher or professor, or meet up group in your community. Entrepreneurs love to mingle and exchange resources. You can also barter with other people when funds are unavailable.

Be sure to include someone who understands finance (preferably an accountant - CPA) as well as an attorney. There are plenty of crowd funding site available these days too (i.e. Kickstarter, GoFundMe, IndieGoGo etc). Friends and family are also great investors too. Just have a clear plan in place. Give it the proper time and be sure the people on your team are qualified and can work with you harmoniously.

7) TITHE

Many people have learned this ancient supernatural secret of giving back ten percent of your gross income to your local church or spiritual center that feeds you inspiration and supports missionaries, orphanages, emergencies etc.

No one can explain why so many good breaks happen to them when they give their first ten percent of their income to God's work, but it's not too hard to figure out that "when he says you look out for my people - I'll look out for you".

See Malachi 3:10 in the Holy Bible:

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." Malachi 3:10

There are millionaires being made. People are quietly prospering as they fill what others need during this economic transition. Perhaps you'll be one of them.

Please share this with your friends, family and network whom you'd like to see prosper. Isn't that everyone?
