Oh Jesus What Must I do

After being told that God exists and that Jesus died for your sins, sometimes you may be left with a, "what next?" This article is intended to help people new to Christ and also people who are already devoted Christians to really grasp what that Lord wants from you now that you know the truth.

"All scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Take the Narrow Road and Make the Bible Your Guidance:So, we were lost and now we can gain our sight back by believing and cleaving to Christ. When we leave this earth, we are headed for eternity in heaven or hell. Hell was not created for us but for Satan and his angels, but if we choose not to follow Christ than Satan becomes our father and we will go where ever he goes. Jesus said that their were two roads, a wide one that many will go on, it’s a easy road that leads to destruction. Than there is a narrow road, harder to walk and not many will find it but it leads to eternal life with God. My friend walk the narrow road, endure that struggles in life with as much positive thoughts as possible, and live a humble, holy, clean life with Christ.

"Christ died for everyone so that whoever receives his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, live for Christ, who died and was raised for them." 2 Corinthians 5:15

I must tell you that the ONLY gospel that should be preached is the one of Jesus. Nothing more or less.(Revelation 21:18-19) All these denominations should have never been created and separation between people was never intended. No one should base their life upon their own belief or that made up by a mere man, but should soak himself in the wisdom of the Bible, then they can’t go wrong. Before attending a church you should find out what they believe in. Let us be called Christians the only term used for Christ followers in the Bible. Christians, not according to denomination but according to us being "Followers of Christ." If your ever unsure of weather the church your attending already is teaching the truth, turn to the Bible. If it contradicts what the Bible teaches than it isn't Biblical. I would advise a new church. If your having trouble understanding the Bible pray to God for it, and find some help from a church member, friend, pastor, or anyone who makes the Bible their means of learning . 1 Corinthians 1:10-13 Paul makes it very clear that division was not intended.

"For if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover those sins. There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies.? Hebrews 10:26

What Must I Do To Be Right With God?:

"Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them their." Galatians 5:24.

We must remember, God has plans for us:

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.

God’s plan gives us meaning:

"...I am the bread of life, he who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who comes to me will never be thirsty." John 6: 35.

These were the words of Jesus. Have you ever felt your life was meaningless, or thought what am I living for? This is exactly how we are suppose to feel if we do not have Christ in our lives. We are to live for him, gather as many souls as we can, and share his love with everyone.

God’s plan gives direction:

"...I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12 .

The Bible can help us in every aspect of our lives.

FIRST STEP: Realize that you are a sinner and that without Jesus you are headed for destruction. Look deep in your heart and see that even though we may have everything we truly have nothing. No more being in denial, God says that everyone has sinned and falls short of the glory of god. Reader if you have made it this far and feel deeply convicted with a yearn to change your ways, Jesus is calling you. He marked you out before you were even born. Don’t let Satan make you feel that any of your sins are to big for Jesus to forgive."...and who-ever comes to me I will never drive away." John 6:37. Believe God loves you!

REPENT

SECOND STEP: REPENT! If you have never given your life to Jesus, or was once saved but lost sight of God, it isn’t to late. The Bible teaches us that the instant you confess your sins to God you are forgiven. It doesn’t matter where you are, all that matters is where your heart is. Once we belong to Jesus no one can take us from him, but we could blindly walk away… so stay strong and courage's. Endure as Jesus did on the cross, and await for his return. If you are ready to reconcile or except Jesus as your savior read these words aloud from your heart:

" Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I know that I fall short of your glory and confess that I cannot change myself without you. I believe that you are Lord and Son of God. I believe you came and died on the cross taking my place in the payment for my sins and by faith in you I am cleansed with your blood and forgiven. My Lord I wish not to sin anymore, I want to seek your will not mine. Please come into my heart and leave your teachings their so that I may not sin against you. Thank you for loving me and laying down your life for me. Right now, I take you as my savior. Amen"

You are NOW SAVED !!. Any uncertainty of this in your heart is lies from Satan rebuke him in Jesus' name and confess that by the blood of Christ you are forgiven. You can be assured that you are saved because we are not saved by what we do but by our faith on Christ alone.

"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us– whatever we ask– we know that we have what we asked him for." 1 John 5:13.

You are now saved and this is a fact if you humbly meant every word that you said, and Jesus says that no one can take you from him once you are his. BUT you could lose all this if you turn back.

STEP 3: Deny thy Self

THIRD STEP: Deny yourself and turn away from sin. Living the life of a Christian is not easy, especially with the kind of world we live in today.

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. " Matthew 7:13.

The Lord Jesus knows that we will come across difficult trials and sorrow. He knows that many will hate us for being Christians and that even our own family could try and tear us down. He knows their will be poverty, death , violence, and at times we may come to times in our lives when we think we cant continue.

"For I am the LORD, your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you". Isaiah 41:13.

Remember what Jesus said, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace . In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33.

When Jesus died on the cross, he died so that by his blood, you could be made clean and presented to God as a new creation. So, after you repent… you have to change from your old ways.

"For merely listening to the law does not make us right with God. It is obeying the law that makes us right in his sight." Romans 2:13

You are brand new, Jesus died so that you could have another chance! Every time we decided to leave, come back, leave, and come back we are re nailing Christ on the Calvary over and over again. What a disgrace!!
But you can't change alone, you need Jesus, for if you didn't then his death meant nothing. Reader, I so desperately want you to be filled with the truth and take it to heart. I pray that conviction enters your heart bringing a good kind of sorrow, the sorrow that please the Lord. The sadness that one feels when they know they have done wrong. This kind of sadness and guilt leads to a change of heart. God is real and what Jesus did for us is real. Death is real and one day it will come to us all. Jesus teaches us not to worry, because worrying cannot add a single day to our life. He tells us not to love money and yearn to be rich but to be content and satisfied with what we have.

"We brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have many sorrows." 1 Timothy 6:7-10

He teaches us to be humble and helpful and joyful while we do these things. To have a lightness to our step that everyone can notice, for it draws their attention and will cause them to want what you have, which gives you opportunity to win more souls. He teaches us to be free of anger, jealousy, envy, unfaithfulness, sexual immortality, ungodly talk, stealing, murder, lying, and worship of anything or anyone BUT God. All of this does not produce the righteousness God desires and are the bad fruits of Satan. If you are not a child of God than you are a child of Satan. Read what Jesus said to these people:

John 8:39-47

Abraham is our father they answered. "If you were Abraham’s children", Jesus said, "than you would do the things Abraham did. As it is, you are deter-mined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. You are doing the things your father does." "We are not illegitimate children," they protested. "The only father we have is God himself." Jesus replied, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you don't not hear is that you do not belong to God."

We must be crucified to the world and the world crucified in us. We must deny out sinful worldly ways and follow Christ. BE A CHILD OF GOD!!

The only type of separation God supports is the separation between us and the world. Feed off God’s words not that of men. I believe deeply in my heart that God wants us to remember that before all the divisions among churches, that it was only about the cross of Christ. Paul and others preach this and this only was their foundation. When and where did the Bible say that we could add onto to what the BIBLE teaches us? STAY ALERT READER.
