I started working as a professional in the moving industry at Bekins Van Lines in the San Fernando Valley. I started off as a lowly helper and was promoted to packer, then to driver and foreman. In 1990, I entered the sales team for Global Van Lines and learned what needed to happen in order to get people in trucks and customers smiling as a result. In 1997, I helped start the pickup and delivery service Public Storage, Inc. In 2001, I opened the Moves Relocation Services.
