Late in February, WhatsApp introduced the "WhatsApp Status", which is a feature that is now popular among users. This feature allows users to be able to upload photo, GIF and video statuses. However, options to save or download these media files to users' smartphone are not provided. Fortunately, in this article, we will show you how to make 30 seconds whatsapp status video download , almost effortlessly.

WhatsApp Status is apparently a story clone from Snapchat. Like Snapchat stories, WhatsApp statuses disappear after 24 hours and cannot be downloaded from the WhatsApp messaging application.

To see your contact's updates, tap the Status tab and select the status of a contact. To respond to a status update for one of your contacts, tap Answer at the bottom of the screen while viewing their status.

How to upload a WhatsApp status?

Just go to the Status tab and click on the plus to add a status. You can publish as many statuses as you want.

Who can see your WhatsApp status?

By default, the WhatsApp status will only be seen by your contacts, unlike the old text status that was, by default, in public.

Note: For the moment, you will never be able to see the status of someone who has not added you to his contact list.

How to download WhatsApp statuses

Step 0: Download the latest version of WhatsApp with video call option and status if you do not have it yet.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp and navigate to the STATUS tab.

Step 2: View all the statuses you want to save on your smartphone.

Step 3: Download a file manager. If you do not have it yet, you can download the ES File Explorer. Apart from this app, you can also try the Total Commander, X-plore File Manager, File Manager+ or MK Explorer.

Step 4: Open ES File Explorer and enable the option "Show hidden files".

Step 5: Navigate to /sdcard/Whatsapp/Media/Statuses . All the statuses of your contacts are in this folder. To save a status in your gallery, simply copy it and paste it into another folder such as /sdcard/ download/. Remember that a WhatsApp status automatically clears after 24 hours.

Step 6: Now you can open your gallery and you will see the photo or video you just copied. The photo or video is stored on your smartphone and will not erase after 24 hours.
