I'm following up on my Genesis Gap teaching of only a few days ago https://youtu.be/6jEdIs-xN58 and I add in this one, a reading from an ancient Aramaic translation. This "Targum" was a translation by Ezra and other scribes, after the Babylonian conquest over Judea. This verse 2 of Genesis chapter 1, that I read on this video (plus other scriptures), show the world as "a desolation". I then show the definition for this wording, from the Merriam-Dexter dictionary. I also go over other things of importance regarding the Genesis Gap teaching.

CORRECTION: It was Ezra and 14 other scribes (not 5 others as I stated incorrectly in this video), who translated the Hebrew Old Testament to Aramaic-Hebrew. Please let the listener/watcher understand that I, as a non-scribe and not being a truly ordained/degreed scholar (for lack of better term) am simply showing that enough scribes/scholars have seen destruction, chaos, desolation, waste, waste-and-wild and the wording "became", "came to be" and "had become" for it to be highly legitimate for considering from Genesis 1:1-2.

RELATIVE QUESTIONS:
1. Why if Satan did not fall before Adam, was he in the Garden of Eden by GOD'S PERMISSION - James 1:13, tempting Adam & Eve (let no one say Satan's actions were righteous/holy - John 10:10)?
2. Since the Bible says Satan fell after sin was found in him, when he was a holy angel (Isaiah 14 & Ezekiel 28) and that he was cast to hell, why does he and his fallen angel followers, roam the earth now (1 Peter 5:8, Luke 4:41)?
3. Why is the creation of Hell not found in the Genesis creation narrative, but we do see Jesus saying it was prepared for "the devil and his angels" in Matthew 25:41?
4. Why are some fallen angels not spoken of as being released from the abyss (bottomless pit - imprisonment), until the Great Tribulation period - Matthew 24:21 (Revelation 9:1-5)?

These questions call only be answered by there having been pre-adamic events that transpired on Earth, the beginning of which caused an Earth desolation.

RELATIVE ANSWERS:
1. For the same reason Satan will be released from the abyss (his prison) after Jesus' Millennial Reign - being for the purpose of acceptance or rejection of evil (Revelation 20:7-8).
2. Due to Adam's sin, which amounted to him sharing his God-given domain (Romans 6:16 and 1 Corinthians 4:4).
3. Because Satan caused the creation of it at a period before Adam (Job 38:6-7, Matthew 25:41).
4. Because Satan, as "god of this world" 2 Corinthians 4:4 was not "allowed" by God the Father, to release them and so, these extremely destructive demons will not be released until the Great Tribulation period.

Author's Bio:

I am a graduate of Liberty University (1996) for completion of theological studies (33 college credits) and I completed "Bible Survey" with Assemblies of God - Berean College. I consider myself a "Bapticostal" (a Baptist also having Pentecostal beliefs). Bible studies are one of my most-covered book subjects. I am however, careful to only address those subjects I believe God has given me correct revelation on. I was a Christian Youth Minister, beginning in 1983 for approximately 18 years. During, between and after youth ministries I served in other church capacities as well, including interim pastoring and retirement home ministry. MOST IMPOTANTLY, I am a redeemed man, who has received salvation by acceptance of Jesus Christ (John 3:16) and what he did for me in shedding his blood and dying for me on the cross, and in his resurrection from the dead, giving me the promise of eternal life, purely by grace; not due to anything I have done, other than to accept it freely. God does however, call us to "good works" as Christians - Ephesians 2:10.
