Do you ever have a day when no matter how hard you are trying to stay on track and be thoroughly aware of portion size and food allotment that you seem to be under attack from the “Eat Me Now” nemesis? You know the days when you have eaten a sensible amount of food and that archenemy inside of you is pushing you to seek more food, junk food, sugary food, carbs, candy, chips?

Rest assured that everybody has to deal with these kinds of sabotaging days and you are not alone as a woman trying to deal with this looming adversary. One way to attempt to alleviate these terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days is to be prepared with an army of elements that can push away your feelings of dire need and turn your back on the ever so daunting “Eat Me Now” antagonist. The better set up you are to deal with such an opponent, the better able you will be to ward off it’s lure Why not give some of the following suggestions a shot the next time it comes knocking at your door.

~Acknowledge that the “Eat Me Now” enemy is there. Explain to it why you will not derail your plans and ask it to kindly go away, really, I’m serious. Put it out there to the universe.
~Divert your attention to something else in your world. Go outside and get some fresh air.
~Call a friend for support and tell them about your troubling predicament.
~Write your thoughts and feelings down in your journal. Take a few moments to review previous writings and how great you feel when you stay on track and make great choices.
~Try on some clothes that make you feel sexy and wonderful. Look at yourself in the mirror and be proud of the beautiful woman looking back at you.
~Take a long shower and then dress to the nines, put on make-up and style your hair.
~Go to the nail salon and get a manicure or a pedicure.
~Sort through your closet for clothes that do not behoove your figure and donate them to a worthy cause.

With all that being said, it is perfectly fine to allow yourself to have days when you over indulge. It is completely and utterly normal. However, you need to be in control and it needs to be your decision when you ultimately decide to indulge. If your plan is to enjoy some extra food on certain days, so be it. Enjoy your choices, relish in their pleasure and then move on. It’ll be okay and life will continue as it always has. We are real women, living real lives; stepping off the track once in a while is just expected. No need to worry.
