The film follows the life of Deok-soo and his love for his family starting from a young age until he grows old. The film follows the agony of separation of a family due to the Hungnam Evacuation during the Korean War in 1950, the government policies during the Vietnam War to dispatch nurses and miners.

Everything goes to hell with the breaks out of zombie apocalypse and threatens the safety of the passengers and in the country.

The movie due to its violent content was forced to make around seven cuts removing about eighty and ninety seconds of graphic visuals for its theatrical release by The Korea Media Rating Board.
