As our blog yesterday was all about acceptance, and how important it is, we thought that it might help you all to start on the road to acceptance by giving you a little exercise that you can do over the weekend.

How accepting do you really think you are? Do you think that you are tolerant of people and are not easily frustrated?

You may be surprised, most of us have never really looked at this side of ourselves, and usually still carry and portray the values, actions and reactions from our upbringing. We are all conditioned to act in certain ways from our upbringings and surroundings, and this is not a bad thing, however to master acceptance, most of us need to change a little.

So over the weekend, try to be aware of everything you are doing, how you feel about yourself, about other people, about things around you…

Note down your feelings and thoughts and reflect on them at the end of the weekend…

What did you find? Are you laid back, and accepting of everything? Up tight and frustrated easily? Fairly laid back with most things and not others?

What does this tell you about how accepting you are?

Maybe it’s time for change?

Good luck!
