We've all heard the saying... "Know the truth and the truth shall set you free." But I'm willing to bet, you haven't REALLY heard it.

Here's the thing: If you find yourself stuck in a job you don't want, a marriage that is unfulfilling or out of sync, or a home life that leaves you empty, you aren't free. Do you feel fear? Yes? Then you aren't free. Do you feel unworthy? Yes? Then you aren't free. Are you pissed off? Not free. Feel stuck? That's right, you aren't free.

See, if you're free, you have the truth. What I mean is, you create your own life. Your reactions to life's situations are created by you. YOUR thoughts, YOUR emotions, YOUR actions - all yours! And if you feel something or are in a situation that is not freeing, then you aren't living the truth of your life.

What IS the truth?

Flip your limiting belief system. Are you angry at your husband? If you are, you aren't free, so that is not the truth. You aren't resentful at your spouse - you feel unworthy of his love. Does being unworthy set you free? No! So that's not the truth either. The truth, my friend, will set you FREE! The truth is, you are worthy. That is freeing....

Are you at a job you can't stand, and you think there is no way out? Do you think it's the boss that makes it miserable for you? Do you think the coworkers you have are incompetent? Are you bullied? If so, then you aren't free. And the TRUTH really is, your boss isn't making you miserable, your coworkers really AREN'T incompetent, and you aren't a victim of bullying. You couldn't be because you aren't free, and if you aren't free, that's not the truth.

Live the Truth

So, starting now, really become aware of your life. And ask yourself this question: Am I free? If the answer is no, you aren't living the truth!

When you are in the middle of a frightening situation or a situation that causes you anxiety or pain, simply ask yourself, "Am I free?" If you answer no, then you aren't living the truth.

There is freedom in the truth. What is the truth? When you find that out for yourself, you will be set free.

Don't settle for anything less than the truth of who you are and what you're capable of. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free!
