Atopic eczema is apparently the most common type of eczema. I disagree.Eczema is a chronic disorder, where the skin erupts due to itching, followed by scratching this leads to, the skin becoming scaly or oozing blisters.

It is written than Atopic eczema is due to a hypersensitive reaction. But surely, all types of eczema are due to an allergic reaction to something or other. In my option, it leads, to long term psychological trauma. What else can you call it? Suddenly eczema begins to spread at an alarming speed throughout the body.

What you have to understand is that eczema is not contagious. Dermatologists are supposed to be experts in knowing about all types of skin disorders, but when it comes to putting them to the test they usually confirm what you already know (finding out by trial and tribulation) They, the experts have no new ideas as to how to treat it.

This audio has been made to reassure others that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Albeit as you suffer this traumatic ordeal it is frightening, not to mention horrifying, having to watch your skin erupting and spreading and having no answers.

Having been an asthmatic all of my life, eczema has been its constant companion (not atopic, I hasten to add )

As a young person, indeed into my early 20’s, doctors concluded that worry or stress brought it on. In my opinion an easy diagnosis, seeing as how the same reasons were given to my constant severe asthma attacks.

What was strange, when the eczema flared up, it was not always the same. Sometimes it was wet and oozed, another time it was dry.

The term “Atopic” refers to a personal and family tendency to develop eczema. This is what you will find written today!
It has to be made clear at this juncture, never in over 30 years was my eczema ever referred to as Atopic. Simply eczema! It was not until reaching the age of 13 years old, travelling to Poland to visit my grandfather for the first time, did my parents and I find out that he had also suffered asthma and eczema.

I personally suffered this disfigurement for 3 months. It began to subside as mysteriously as it came. Rightly or wrongly I put this down to radical changes made in my eating habits and the choice of products used on my skin.

1) I decided to be radical and changed my diet to vegetarian/vegan

2) Using natural 100% Aloe Vera to wash my skin

The national eczema society has no idea what the trigger is and suggests each individual learn to manage the discomfort in daily life. Try your own national eczema website.
No solace there then! In my opinion you are generally if not always, left to deal with things yourself. Below is what they say may trigger Atopic eczema
Soap and detergents

Skin infections
House dust mites and their droppings
Animal fur, hair and saliva
Pollens
Overheating
Rough Clothing
